Elizabeth on the VIEW-Still Hating on our President (695 hits)
I just can't get over Elizabeth's undercover racism. She slips every now and then and this is just one showing of that. Elizabeth wake up. He's black. He's in charge whether you like it or not and here to stay for the next 2 years, and maybe another 4 after, so just deal with it. How could she even suggest that he just started caring after all that he's done thus far. She better wake up and smell the coffee.
@ Sister Anita~Ha! You are too funny, but I like you because you are sincere. I guess your sentiments are similare to what Kanye meant when he said when President Bush didn't care about Black people (which I didn't believe was the case).
I listened to 60 Minutes yesterday with the interview that was done with the President and he did admit that he "dropped the ball" a little bit when he totally concentrated on getting legislation passed without communicating well to the American people like he did when he was campaignign to be President. He said an effective leader communicates with people and that's what he did as a community organizer so he promised to get back out there to make sure the American people know he's working for them.
I'm looking forward to that rather than allow networks like Fox News, the Limbaughs, and the Becks distort, frighten, and lie to the people.
You are partially correct, but what many Americans don't realize is that the Obamacare and his reforms did was close some of the loop holes that keep companies that many of these Reps own from making all the loot they did before.

Brother Saint. I don't agree. The President has a lot more power than he even realizes. The problem is he under the microscope and not able to use that power to the best of his abilities. ex: like bringing in the banks and having a summit or setting up programs for the middle class. Also I think he went above their heads, thinking like the rich do, give it to the rich (banks) and it will drizzle down to the masses (middle income) which is what he said he wouldn't do. Lets face it. He got caught up on the results. You're so right Sister Jen. I support my president 100%, because I personally feels he has a good heart and wants to do, but is caught up in this race baiting, negative stereotypes that if he even oversteps any boundaries that could even be misconstrued as doing something for his people, those white folks would drop him like a hot potatoe, which some have already done. To the president: Keep on doing what you're doing. Think before you do and communicate brotha communicate.

@ Sister Anita,
I think he's a wonderful leader with so much potential which is why I went to the polls in 2008 & this past Nov. 2nd for the midterm. I've heard some things from my "inside source" that there are going to be some changes in both President Obama and some changes with his administration which should help him to get re-elected for a second term as well as make him to go down in history as a really outstanding American president. Keep him in your prayers!!

You go Brotha RICK. I just hope Im here when the naersayers get the in your face results of what the Obama constituents accomplished and its long term benefits. Yes Sista Jen: Lots of potential and has done alot that present haters will not acknowledge, but someday they won't have a choice. When this president gets this country on point the way he wants, all of them will be eating crow. The man went to India and brought back thousands of jobs. What president you know did that. Others tried to bring countries together, but none accomplished in such short a time what this present president has done. People better wake up and recognize.

Sista Jen You are too much!. Im sorry, I get it from my mama (Pastor Kennedy). She speaks her mind and is passionate about what she feels. I remember joining the mosque in Brooklyn. I was under age. That woman came in there with the cops and hauled my butt up out there. I was married and everything and told those people if they every came near her family again, there would be hell to pay. Now Thats Balls, so thats where I get my passion from. If I get on yall nerves, tell me so, I'll try to shut up! LOL
