LESSONS I HAVE LEARNED FROM NETWORKING (171 hits)

Lesson 1: - Be Prepared

Do your homework prior to attending the networking event. Start with identifying your target markets. If you have multiple markets, pick one and highlight it for that particular event. At the same time, be sure you known that market well enough to speak intelligently on it. One of the things you can do is to become very familiar with their buying or selling habits, their challenges, and the things they enjoy doing. This will ensure that your conversations will be substantive.
