Don't Forget to Register to Vote in Upcoming November Elections!! (234 hits)

The 15th Ammendment, An Ongoing Story.... http://www.aaregistry.org/historic_events/view/15th-amendment-ongoing-story
Voter registration deadlines are fast approaching, and the stakes of this election are huge. Tea Party activists and the far right are organized, visible, and loud. Whether or not we show up on Election Day will determine whether much of the change we voted for two years ago has a chance at becoming reality.

If you're not registered to vote, please do so now — you can use the tool below (provided in partnership with Rock The Vote) to get started — and please pass the word on to your friends and family asking them to do the same:
If you’re not sure about your registration status or if you’ve moved, play it safe and register again (there’s no harm in re-registering).

Every vote critical — a lot is at stake and the results of many elections could come down to just a few votes. If you're not already registered, please take a moment to do so now, and encourage your friends and family to do the same. It could make a huge difference.

Thanks and Peace,

-- James, Gabriel, William, Dani, Natasha and the rest of the ColorOfChange.org team

I also posted this last week. In PA the deadline is today. So if you are in this state or another with a 30 day deadline, don't miss the boat!

Sorry Brother Adam,
I didn't realize that you posted this~~ I try to read through the topics and blogs before hand, but I guess I missed it. Please accept my humblest apology. ((smiles))

Sister Jen, it wasn't any kind of criticism, it actually can't be said enough. I just got in under the wire, just came back from handing in the form in person, because I was worried it wouldn't get through the mail in time.

I hope most states are not like mine, with a 30 day deadline.
