Warning Against False Teachers, Preachers, & Prophets (1218 hits)
Mark 13:21-27;32-37
And then if any one says to you, `Look, here is the Christ!' or `Look, there he is!' do not believe it. False Christs and false prophets will arise and show signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect. But take heed; I have told you all things beforehand.
" But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
And then he will send out the angels, and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven. " But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Take heed, watch; for you do not know when the time will come. It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to be on the watch.
Watch therefore -- for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrow, or in the morning – lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Watch."
May the Lord add a blessing to the reading of His Word.
JF....this is a much need warning. So many falsehoods are trying to wear the sackcloth of God's prophets... and many who'll follow them are in danger of falling with them. Watch and pray. Thank you sister.

You are so right and it seems that the longer we tarry for the coming of the Lord's return, the more these false teachers are coming out of the woodwork. I've also been seeing the straying of many men and women of God who used to preach the unadulterated Word of God start to stray towards this New Age Teaching. We have to be careful, because many people are being led astray unknowingly, because they are getting wrapped up in people and not wrapped up in Jesus.
It's very important that we pray, but many people neglect the watching part. The bible teaches us that we shall know them by the fruit that they bear and many of these well known preachers aren't bearing good fruit anymore, because they have become polluted with the material things of this world rather than the Kingdom of God. They have also stop following the agenda of seeking souls for the Kingdom and have began to win souls for themselves to promote their own ambitious agendas.
There are so many things wrong, but when Senator Charles Grassley launched an investigation of many of the mega church pastors, many Christians had been praying, but they weren't watching. Some of those false teachers of the prosperity gospel were defiant and didn't want to cooperate with the law for which the bible says that we are to obey all authorites.
It's sad, but Jesus said if He be lifted up, He'd draw all men unto Him...so with that said as long as we look to the Author and Finisher of our Faith he'll keep us safe and out of harms way from all the ravenous wolves in sheeps clothing.

Hello Ms. Jen,
What you are quoting from the Bible, Mark 13:21-27; 32-37 has nothing to do with Black Americans.
The importance of that chapter has to do with what was going on 2000 years ago. Therefore, it neither has anything to do with Black Americans nor these present days.
I think that you are confused to believe that one size fits all! Of course, you know that one size does not fit all. Am I making any sense with you?
Today as far as Black Americans are concerned, I am the Christ. Likewise, Prophet Moses was the Christ of the children of Israel 4000 years ago. Are you connecting the dots?
The reason why Mark was giving warning about false prophets is because the Prophet of the house of Israel was present at the time and the Prophet was Jesus. However, what makes your blog you rational are that you are thinking that Jesus is Black America’s prophet of today and that does not make any sense since the races are different. Jesus was neither a Black American nor is Black Americans Jewish people.
What I see is that you, Mrs. Jen is mentally unable to recognize your genuine prophet because you do not know who you are.
My most recent blog points out that Black Americans as an entire people do not know who they are and if you do not know who you are, anything that you say most likely would be wrong.
I am the way, and besides me, there is no other way. I am the truth and the light for all Black Americans. Everything that I say is going to happen. Black Americans are going to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders.

I have sent unto you my messengers the Prophets and Apostles and you rejected them because they didn’t come and prophecy according to your fleshly mind sets and have said this one or that one is not from God. Therefore, I hereby declare that 2010 will be the year of truth & war, says the Lord of Host. You have hidden behind your lies for to long. I, the Lord have declared war on all who oppose the truth. On all who would rather make a name for themselves. On all who have deceived, robbed, raped, and murdered millions of people. Yes, you who have blood on you hands and on your private parts are both blood and bowel. Your stench and defilement have come before me and your offerings are no longer a sweet savor before me. You have become an abomination to me. I will no longer accept your offering. Nor will I give ear to your vain prayers for I will reject you !

The illness within the church runs deep and the results are that a growing number of churches are becoming (have become) nothing more than social clubs, business fellowship meetings, etc., or even worse, religious cults where men have been given preeminence over Jesus Christ. In most of these settings, if and when Jesus actually shows up, it will be more as an honored guest rather than as the master of the house.

The two ministry gifts you have mentions are so neglected by most churches and yet Jesus set them in the church for the edifying and the building up of the body of Christ. A true prophet and apostle of God are going to speak God's Word's of correction in order to set the churches in order in an effort to make sure Jesus has a perfect "bride without spot or wrinkle".

...You are so right and the sad thing about it many people who call themselves Christians and attend church aren't scholars of the Bible. I was listening to a married couple talk about how they'd been attending one of the mega churches for 20 years and the wife said she'd never read the bible for herself. She only started when their "so called prosperity" dried up. Can you imagine! This is the reason so many people go with every wind of doctrine, because they are ignorant of God's Word and don't know how to tell the difference in what's authenic and what's counterfeit. The only way to know the counterfeit is one must have already studied the authentic.
I once had a evangelist who taught at my former church say if you can't find it in "dem red words" from Jesus then you better question it. Jesus said to His cousin John the Baptist when he was being baptised that He'd come to fullfil the law. The prophets of old spoke of Him in the Old Testament and so Jesus was more or less the "Foot Stop" or "Period" and the end of the sentence.
Many bibles that are printed today have stopped putting the Words of Jesus in red. I liked that when I was a small child. I happen to have one bible who with the Words of Jesus in red and it's priceless to me! ( I digress.)'
Anyway~~ I've been called stubborn, self willed, disobedient and a whole host of other things by these so called leaders, teachers, preachers, prophets of the Gospel and false teachings because I question things that aren't in line with what I have studied for myself from the scriptures. Many of the churches want people to be "brain washed" and go along with their selfish ambitions and agendas. That's not me. So these people can call me whatever they will, but I know that I'm a child of God and all children know and recognize their Father's voice over somebody else's voice.

It is ironic how it seem like the best known followers of people they believe is a SAVIOR...seem to end up in tragic mass deaths /life in prison.
Charles Manson...jim Jones...WACO TX....THOSE who killed themselves at the turn of the century...That cult in Or. who poisoned all those innocent people by putting poison in the salad bar in Oregan some years back...
