Work is available IMMEDIATELY for safety conscious workers
RATE OF PAY: $13.00/hour straight time
$19.50/hour overtime (after 40 hours/week)
PER DIEM: $26.00/day for meals
Transportation to the Gulf Coast will be provided The Shamrock Environmental Corporation (HR) Group has been contracted to conduct this recruitment to provide support personnel to assist with the oil spill clean-up throughout the Gulf Coast Areas where work may be performed are Louisiana , Mississippi , Alabama and Florida .
All workers will be provided an OSHA 40 hour Hazardous Waste Operator Training. Successful completion of a physical and drug screen also required. Each applicant must be 18 years of age or older. The hours will vary but expect LOTS of overtime.

Absolutely true Sister Irma and that is to make a living so that their families can have food and clothes like the rest of us. What you have stated just goes to buttress my stance that the undocumented don't take jobs away from American workers especially Black Americans as my 88 year old grandmother often claims (although I love her dearly~~~giggling).

I couldn't agree with you more Sister Irma that the undocumented workers who come from places like Mexico, Ecquador, Chile, etc working on farms doing jobs that most if not all Americans would never do. During my short 2 months run in the Emergency room, I would see people coming in who pretended not to understand English because ER nurses were trying to be the Immigration police.
I quickly gained the trust of these people when I would start speaking "una poco" Spanish giving them no reason not to speak English to me seeing how bad I was speaking Spanish. Ha!
My position on the Immigration matter then and now is let Immigration do their jobs and I will do my job as a nurse and treat patients with diginity, care, and respect regardless to their Immigration status.
As far as the Catholic church goes and the religion of the Immigrants/Undocumented, I really don't understand why you have to bring that into this discussion. I think it's irrelevant afterall when Immigration arrests people it has nothing to do with religion, but everything to do with their silly, outdated, archaic, and broken Immigration laws in America. The US needs to take some noted from out Northern neigbors across the border (Canada).
There Immigration system is more reasonable and there usually isn't all this back log that causes people to go there. As a matter of fact, there are US residents close to the Canadian border in times past committed fraud for the use of the Health Care System which is why parts of Canada have began using a more sophisticated Health Care Card with pictures on them making it harder to duplicate.
