Re: Your Thoughts on Venus Williams' Tennis OutFit @ the French Open? (223 hits)

The seven-time Grand Slam champion wowed the crowd at Roland Garros on Sunday by wearing a lacy, black dress with bright red trim on her bodice during her first-round match against Patty Schnyder. The black overlay material made the dress appear as if it was see through, even though it was not.Venus won with ease, 6-3, 6-3. She wore a similar can-can style outfit earlier this year in Miami.

Hats off to my sister Venus but I think the pink and black dress Serena wore to one of the Wimbledon games when they played against each other was really cute!!!

@ Cynthia
It's ok to be different, but that outfit was not a good choice and then the other factor might be that it would look better on someone else rather than on her.

@ Siebra
Even the pink and black dress didn't look good on her although it was cute.

Hey Jen--

I did not realize what all the hype was about... until I saw MORE photos.

This isn't the part of her outfit that got people;s attention. It is what she wore UNDERNEATH. Her undies.

It literally looked like she was wearing no panties. Skin tight, skin color butt hugging undies. It left her beautifully shaped bottom completely exposed.

Some women can pull it off. She can.

I just realized that what I wrote is a double entendre. By "pull it off" I don't mean her undies...(smile!!)

Give the girl credit. She goes her own way.

Hey...I loved it!!!!

You won't hear any complaints from me!!!

@ Rich... no pun intended... Ha!

I would love it if you could post a link to show us what those undies looked like?

I found the link. Those underwear should be banned. It's inappropriate and there should be a new dress code for tennis.
