Proverbs 11:13(NIV) -- A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy (wo)man keeps a secret.
2 Timothy 3:6 (NIV) -- They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires.
These scriptures deal with gossips, busybodies, talebearers = "Silly Women"
Apparently marriage and motherhood do not constitute maturity for some women. Also since now a days most women work outside the home most of the gossip and he said, she said goes on in the workplace, however the same Biblical principle applies. MYOB. As long as consenting adults are involved it is no concern of yours. Let it Be.
My Supplication
Sisters,
Please pray that my relationship with my friend Ivan will be reconciled and healed. Due to lies, rumours, slander and innuendo by a so-called mutual friend our love for each was broken. This female is married with two children. She has her happiness, why not let me have mine. However I believe that somewhere in the book of Proverbs it says that a talebearer comes to no good end. The Bible also says that women should not be busybodies. Why can't everyone just MYOB. The world would be a better place if we just let others relationships follow their natural course. If it is meant to be it will happen, if not then God will do the separating.
Ivan is Bulgarian. Maybe that's another reason people don't like to see us together. They must wondered what an African American woman and an Eastern European man can have in common but we really do enjoy many of the same activities and amazingly think very much alike. Ivan is a sweet, kind, gentle, loving man which is very good.
Last night I dreamed our love and friendship was restored. I really do love and miss Ivan's love, friendship and support. Please ask the Lord to let this be so by May 9th Mothers Day. Thank you and God Bless.
This whole "hot mess" bothered me so much that I had to get it off my chest. Had to speak on it. Now I do feel somewhat better and I will be in prayer all week. I have instituted a policy of isolation and am trying my level best to stay away from certain hazardous women in and out of the workplace.
