Step 1: Make this Bible verse your daily mantra. "God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of courage and a sound mind". Speak these words into existence and they become your reality.
Step 2: Do not feed the fear by listening to the negative thoughts. Instead replace the thoughts with positive ones.
Step 3: Do something about it. One way to get rid of the fear is to write or journal about the things you are afraid to do or get involved with because of fear.
Step 4: Instead of allowing the fear to cripple your actions or behavior, instead use the fear to make positive changes that will bring positive results.
So in closing, follow the advice of Eleanor Roosevelt who says: “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself. "I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along."
