How do you convince people to go out and experience the cultural resources available? (573 hits)
This had been job #1 for myself as Tour Manager for Florida Cultural Tours. Our situation here is very unique because we compete for the same entertaiment dollars that the big sharks vie for (disney, universal, sea world, etc...etc...etc...) on a fraction of a fraction of their advertising budgets. Plus, 2 African-American women utilizing an African-American bus company promoting a VARIETY of cultural events. WHEW!
Even still, we are plugging along, making one on one appointments with all who are interested in what we are doing here and offering travel solutions, fundraising projects, family reunion components and more! Keep us in your prayers as we are making inroads with people and companies who deal directly with the traveling public and those who are actively looking for the "non-commercial" aspect of Orlando. We want to always make sure that we present ourselves and our companies in a manner everyone will sing about these tours to their friends/family/ co-workers and even mere acquaintances.
