Then I observed that the basic motive for success is the driving force of envy and jealousy, Ecclesiastes 4:4...motivated by what we see...others strive to be. Not everyone is meant to be...the president of a nation or high profile celebrity. Yes, they are fine examples of what, with hard work you could aspire to be...but first know there must be a implanted seed...self motivated desire must proceed...be inscribed on your heart, like the apostles creed. Envy and jealousy can only momentarily lead...after the initial jolt of adrenalin...they soon run out of steam. For when the source of their motivation can no longer be tapped into or seen...success becomes a faded dream. God the Father, promotes individual confidence and self esteem...yes, motivated by others dreams. Not envy, just admiration and esteem...the fuel that propels the beloved's own dreams...Fore...ward!
Drive by ahead...envy and jealousy shot dead, Mommy Dearest
I have a friend who likes to talk about herself and her family along with everything they have from how her husband doesn't want her to work to how she has this and that. For a moment I started to be envious until I realized that my life is just fine and there is no need for me to be jealous or envious.
What God can do for one, He can do for another except I don't need something I saw someone else with it at their house. I like my life and everything I don't have. I like things to stay simple. Thanks as always for the blogs! I have and will continue to drive ahead of envy and jealousy, because they are dead in my life.
