I'm doing it in 2010!
After months of stressing out over how will I survive once I stop receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), I cast it all away last week. Social Security has been like welfare for me. My biggest fear was getting sick and being without health insurance as I would fall into the pre-existing condition category.
I believed I was strong enough to walk away, but I had that spirit of double-mindedness a/k/a "what if's ..."
