Why I (Jen Fad) Love White Men for the Negroes on this site who preach Reverse Discrimination (1776 hits)
I’m growing weary of some of the Negroes (not the real African American men) here preaching reverse discrimination hidden under the guise of religion and Black enlightment. I love white people especially White men.
White men have done more for me in my lifetime thus far than the Black man that I will never call father did when he lay down with my mother to plant his sperm to create me so you see I have nothing against White men. I appreciate White men like Mr. Frank P. who gave me my first job at the Winn Dixie and kept me on his payroll during weekends and holidays so that I could earn money while in college.
Mr. Matthew D. put that sold sign on my first house without me having a dime of earnest money to give my realtor upfront; He took me at my word. Mr. John C. from the then Nations Bank (now Bank of America) in Columbia, S.C. gave me the benefit of doubt when my credit report showed that I was once indebted to 6 or 7 credit card companies while I was a innocent and naïve college student. I can go on and on, but I won't. I love men, but I especially love White men.
White men know how to appreciate a woman by doing nice things like take a woman out to nice restaurants and nice beach front resorts rather than free load and live off our means. White men aren’t intimidated by educated Black women. Most White men take care of their children and even the illegitimate ones most times even if it’s just to keep the women quiet or to keep from going to jail for non child support. I love White men and they love me.
They have appreciated me more than a lot of Black men that I’ve known in my short life time so please prove yourselves brothers---Put your money where your mouth is--- put up --- or shut up because our sons and daughter need you to do what you preach.
how much money? can I see a picture of you first?

Brother Robert, Are you a White man? I think I'm in love, but you have to post your real pic first although I can't promise you that I'll post mine unless you tell me how much you want to pay me. I'll have to warn you that my husband might not like your proposal if it's indecent.
Once while living in St. Louis, picked up this very beautiful black woman for dinner. Forget some of the details but remember we were driving on the highway and she mentioned that she had dated a white man before. That when remember took the next exit and did a U turn. She was asking me "whats wrong" is it something I said. While driving back toward her home, I mentioned that not many past things are as troubling as that. She asked me why. Did mention to her, that my blood is pure and plan to keep it that way. Even a kiss is problamatic because the saliva from the white man inside a black woman's mouth is not good.
My point, one must have values. For me, my mother and father helped set my values and instilled in me to love thyself and do not compromise. For money, a person can try to justify anything. It just gets back to your own personal values. In my lifetime thus far, have seen some gorgeous white women but simply prefer a gorgeous black women. My mother was Black and I loved my mother so why would I do anything differant. As far as white men, who hung my foreparents and casterated the black male, poured oil and gas over him then lit him on fire. Probably won't be forgiving him any time soon. If a black woman wants to date white men...be my guess.....All I ask is let black men know first.

This is an excerpt from a blog I posted some months back but I will post it here because of the subject matter.
We hear so much in the NOI teachings that the Whiteman is the devil yet he is the one extending help to our women and children. Therefore I ask the question, Blackman where are you other than debating one another? Who’s raising your children? Why are you trying to out smart one another on the internet instead of helping to secure a future for your children that they have NOT YET LIVED?
I'm not stating that all Black men are not doing good works, I know of many men on this forum who are. I am not interested in having this post become personal as in directed to a single person. Nor do I want it to go in a direction that is off of the topic.
To be recognized as a community that is self productive has nothing to do with the glare of publicity. I don’t know one single Chinese personally that services mainly our community by name. This is the point in which I am making; we have to have something a self sufficient system that is net-workable across the board.
This is obtainable when the wide open fields get worked by the owners. The NOI is taught to study the Whiteman, one of his major reasons for being successful in building he is united. He has a saying up front nothing personal just business, with him it’s not about if he likes you or not it’s getting the business done.
Thanks to the great ideas and building tools, when it’s all said and done it boils down to solutions to any problems. Solutions and building tools are greatly accepted in adding onto this thread. There are so many Blackmen that have not provided for their offspring that it is a damn shame. This has nothing to do with the Whiteman it is all about the pride and the ill responsibility of the Blackman.
Minister Farrakhan stated that a man will love his family regardless. You mean to tell me Blackman that you are willing to let another man force you into taking care of what you produced? Get up off of your high horse and start building for the many orphans out here, the fatherless children. Adopt or be a foster parent or a mentor and reclaim our babies!
All of the mudslinging and blowing smoke up one another's asses on this board counts for nothing unless you make a difference in a physical way with the thousands of lost youths.
Get back at me in this post with some solutions that we can apply to the youth. If anybody is interested in the youth and helping holla at your girl so we can at least start the ball rolling.
You have every right to be with whoever you choose and to fall in love whoever you want.
According to the historical record—letters, family histories both written and oral, birth, death, marriage records, black men and white women—and black women and white men do fall in love.
It's not a color thing. It's a man-woman thing.
This happened even when it was illegal, even when there were penalties, even when the community prohibited it. I am not talking about forced s*xuality or rape. No question that this was the rule rather than the exception during the slavery era.
But—that wasn’t the whole story. There was love in the equation.
We know the whole Thomas Jefferson-Sally Hemings thing, which Pulitzer Prize winning author Annette Gordon Reed calls somewhere between “rape and romance”.
One example of this is the Narrative of Harriet Jacobs, a slave in North Carolina, who escaped to freedom in 1844 to write her own narrative. She describes how her lecherous owner continually tormented her with his s*xual advances and she tried everything she could to avoid him, to resist and maintain her dignity.
A young white lawyer, who lived in the town, took an interest in Harriet, and she wrote about her warm and affectionate feelings for him. He protected her from the advances of her evil owner and she bore his two children who he protected from the worst experiences of slavery and made sure that both of them would become free.
I should get it together to post some of her writings because it is a fascinating window on how intensely slaves sought to maintain their dignity as human beings.
The important point for everyone to recognize is—men and women have always fallen in love with each other, black and white, white and black—and every man and every woman has the absolute right to be with the person they choose. Period.
Here is a statement released by Mrs. Mildred Loving on the 40th anniversary of the 1967 Loving v. Virginia Supreme Court decision affirming the right of anyone to marry who they want.
MILDRED LOVING:
“When my late husband, Richard, and I got married in Washington, DC in 1958, it wasn’t to make a political statement or start a fight. We were in love, and we wanted to be married.”
“When Richard and I came back to our home in Virginia, happily married, we had no intention of battling over the law. We made a commitment to each other in our love and lives, and now had the legal commitment, called marriage, to match. Isn’t that what marriage is?”
“My generation was bitterly divided over something that should have been so clear and right. The majority believed that what the judge said, that it was God’s plan to keep people apart, and that government should discriminate against people in love. But I have lived long enough now to see big changes. The older generation’s fears and prejudices have given way, and today’s young people realize that if someone loves someone they have a right to marry.”
I wrote a choreopoem, "Harriet", about Harriet Jacobs, whom Richard has mentioned above.
The exploitative attitudes which white men had about Black women during slavery still exist and still proliferate today, unfortunately. Ref. Mick Jagger.
And yes, of course it is possible to fall in love outside of any and all racial and cultural boundaries.
And there are plenty of white men who abandon their children and families. Ref. Mick Jagger. Again.
My question is, if Black men are not treating us with respect, why not? And what can we do to change this situation?
A kiss is a powerful thing! Afterall, there are kisses of betrayal. It's probably better if lips are used in prayer.... [With love]

Dear Zhana:
Glad to see that you have been inspired by Harriet Jacobs. I have read her narrative and her biography--she was an amazing woman.
Would you consider sharing your poem "Harriet"?

Sister Jen, are you being devilish again? Are you really married? Say it isn't so! Love the picture!

Well, Jen--you struck a real chord here.
Everybody made some great points. But so far, nobody mentioned your exquisite choice of Nina Simone to convey and glorify your (and our) deepest longings. In her deep, gorgeous soulful way, she brings the conflicting emotions of love straight into the heart.
Billie Holiday did the same song--just as gutwrenching, just as mesmerizing.
BEAUTIFUL CHOICE! THANK YOU!!
Lyrics: LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME Nina Simone
Say, "Love me or leave me and let me be lonely You won't believe me but I love you only I'd rather be lonely than happy with somebody else"
You might find the night time, the right time for kissing Night time is my time for just reminiscing Regretting instead of forgetting with somebody else
There'll be no one unless that someone is you I intend to be independently blue
Say, "I want your love, don't wanna borrow Have it today to give back tomorrow Your love is my love, there's no love for nobody else"
Say, "Love me or leave me and let me be lonely You won't believe me but I love you only I'd rather be lonely than happy with somebody else"

I was wondering when someone was going to comment on Ms. Simon's song. I never heard of her before today. Imagine that, but as fate would have it we found each other just for this blog! Thanks for posting the lyrics Brother Rich.

I've already did some searches on her yesterday, because I was so shocked that I'd never heard of her and this is probably because she left the United States. What a voice and a talent. I love her and what a fashion icon! I want to know how to put music on my profile page, because there is a song she sang that I have to have on my page.

Jen, if you are interested in putting music on your profile, go to www.playlist.com that is the site I used to add music to my profile. There isn't a lot I know about Nina, but since my godmother was into her, I recommend the downloads "Four Women", "The King Of Love" which is an ode to MLK, and "Here Comes The Sun". Also, rumor has it that Mary J. Blige is doing a movie based on Nina's life :-)

Irma, Jen, Siebra, et al: It's warms my heart to know that this conversation has allowed enlightenment to reach another soul that has been out of the loop...
A movie based on Nina Simone? Kool...we need to bring to life many of our long lost Music Royalties!
This is ridiculous...and for any black man to stand for this abomination is a mouse.

but, I will also say once again, "I am embarrassed as a F-E-M-A-L-E to experience witnessing the acceptanced mistreatment of a Blackman for his female White partner".
