The Power of Numbers ????? (117 hits)

I have been in the beauty industry since 1976, and have seen a great change since the 1990s. I have seen many African American salons and beauty supplys close down due to a lack of knowledge. That knowledge is the understanding of the power of Numbers.People in China come into this country with no knowledge of the people who they are pooling their money with and takes over a multibillion dollar industry which is mainly supported by African Americans. Now we all need to eat, I just would like to have a little bit more on my plate. I am just trying to get us to think what it would be like had we had this concept . Had our Afican American owned Salons and Beauty supplys pooled their monies togather by buying in bulk ,we would still be a strong part of this competitive market. Salons supporting one another in business, we would still have a strong edge in this market. One thing I have learned is that you must love yourself and trust yourself to help yourself. God made us all alike and the only thing that seperate us is us. I am talking about all people African American, Hispanics, Whites and others. God made us all. As a race we are the only ones that are afraid to do business or support one another. I am not talking about you if this shoe does't fit. Our counterparts would not have the capital to support other organizations had they only supported those that are of other nationallities and not support their own race. Now we help each other but, some of us don't support each other. See without supporting each other their will never be enough capital to go outside of the bounderies of the world.

So people what I am saying that if there is a person presenting a business or requesting support , do your home work and research the business or organization before just clicking and going to the next page. Don't pre- judge until you have done your research. Black Women Connect is a social networking site. Sharing and caring. Now my interest is Afilliated programs that are (free to join only please) with no fees. Pays monthly and with no minimum pay outs. One of the ones I have already sign up with is http://home.bigcrumbs.com/cbooker and www.joini5.com/cbooker both or free to join.
