The Good Book says "do not argue with the loud of mouth", Sirach 8:3...those who don't give others a chance to get a word out. Determined to get their point across...make what they think, be the truth, when it's false. But that makes no difference to them...they just keep on hollering...at the top of their lungs. But those who choose to guard their mouths, preserve their lives on the day that Jesus comes...to judge the quick tempered who like to let their mouths run. And feel privileged to say they won...the battle. Unbeknownst to them that they just lost the war...for...blessed is the peace maker, for they shall be called sons of God, Matthew 5:9...promoting harmony at large, not leading the Mouth all Mighty charge.
Sister Harley I could have used this a few days ago on another site that will remain nameless! I was yelling at a loud mouth and I was not 'trying' to be a peace-maker. Infact I thougth of the following passage of scripture:
Luke 12:49 (The Message)
To Start a Fire 49-53"I've come to start a fire on this earth—how I wish it were blazing right now! I've come to change everything, turn everything rightside up—how I long for it to be finished! Do you think I came to smooth things over and make everything nice? Not so. I've come to disrupt and confront! From now on, when you find five in a house, it will be—
Three against two, and two against three; Father against son, and son against father; Mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; Mother-in-law against bride, and bride against mother-in-law."
