My Loves Halo (138 hits)

When my time comes to an end, here on earth
As I labor in death, just as my mother did at my birth
Its your face I long to kiss good-bye first...and last
Then squeeze your hand, until I pass...into eternity
Where the sun, the moon and the stars,
will gloriously, divide you and me
From all that we once strived to do and be
Now only, desiring to, look into my beloved's eyes and see
That it mattered not, what I looked like
Nor that my finances were right or that my talent shined bright
But glimpsing in your teary eyes, that I was the love of your life
All that really mattered, second only to Christ
Then I can let go and bask in God's Everlasting halo

I love you like the sun, the moon and the stars,
Mommy Dearest
