In Hades, where he was being tormented, he looked up and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus by his side. He called out, "Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in agony in these flames.", Luke 16:23-24...from whence that old statement surely came,..."People in hell want ice water"...but if you end up there...no Heavenly body will bother, to come...or be able to cross that chasm. For no earthly effort or prayer...will be able to reach you way down there. So maybe you should listen, while you're up here...to those who care...desire to see your soul spared...the eternal pain and despair. All because in life...you refused to acknowledge Christ. Chose not to declare...confess the Name of Jesus, and be saved by The Royal Heir...the only man to ever leave there...conquering death. So that the blessed...won't have to make futile requests...but have eternal life and rest...in Heaven and on earth.Only His beloved, will experience no thirst...over flowing with the living water, sounds like a pretty cool perk.
