My Film Was Chosen! (224 hits)

Greetings, all.

I am delighted to announce that the short film based on my choreopoem, Harriet, about the life of Harriet Jacobs (author of Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl), has been chosen to be screened during the London Black Film Festival 2009.

“Harriet” was written as part of a project funded by Arts Council England to commemorate the bicentenary of the end of the Transatlantic trade.

For more details and to see the film, go to

Have a great day!
