A good wife is one who puts what she wants aside for her mate, especially when he is a man of God! We often must put our mate's needs ahead of our own.

From all the ladies that I've seen over the years, its more like female slavery. I see the women making the sacrifices to keep their families happy, healthy, in tact but the men take them for granted. I still see men wanting an "independant" woman- 1 who is financially successful in her right- but the minute they are married, they want this submissive robot who will still cook, clean, take care of kids completely, be a "ho" in bed every night, & still get up every morning to make at least 85k annually. I know & understand the bibical definition but its still a hared pill to swallow at times!!

I have a long line of strong marriages in my family. Out of all my family I only know of one divorce and they had been warned before they got into the marriage by family. From watching and listening a good wife is one that listens and is able to communicate effictively with her mate, someone who is attentive to their mates needs but also will not accept just any type of treatment from their mate, one who is able to pray in secret for her family but not be afraid to put down marshall law when needed most importantly one is apple of her mates eye and the queen to his throne.
Nisha wow men that are that way aren't really looking for a wife and maybe haven't had a good example of what a true marriage should be they're still boys growing up because a true man would never treat a woman like that. I know many true black men that have set the example for me.

Nisha, that was deep I must say. I thank God that I have a caring, wonderful husband and I stop cooking last year everyday, I cook when I feel like it. As far as cleaning, my husband is a neat freak and that suits me just fine. Now, to address the "ho", she doesn't live in my house and never has. RESPECT is key and you have to make sure that the man that your dealing with has plenty of Respect for all women before he's allowed in a permanent place in your world. AMEN!
