Am I the only one annoyed by "reply all" BWC/BIA emails? (1488 hits)
There's something so very impersonal and spam-ish about them. I'm referring to when people write messages then click that "send to everyone on your friends list" link...
EDIT, now this message is normal again. I think connectplatform is having programming issues tonight. Nevermind.
I agree with you. The "reply alls" cause mail boxes to fill up with information that can, if not curtailed, become massive. Is it that there is no option to respond directly to the person? This site has not been the easiest to navigate. It is not as intutive as I would like, but that's just my opinion.

How would any of us know when a person sent a message to all of his/her friends? Is there a way to tell without opening the message to see a posting that we can generally conclude was sent as a mass message?
Please...educate me. I need to know this one because I didn't log in for awhile and came back to a box that is still pretty full today.
Thanks.

I must say, I do like geting emails that are sent to me personally. I am a very busy woman, so a lot of times when I get emails that have a large distribution list, I count it as I may have read it before, it's a chain letter or prayer, or some kind of a joke that I may have already read. They are okay, I understand the concept, but I much rather get personal emails from my friends or even fair weather friends. It makes me feel a little more special. Thanks for reading!

/* E':
You know that I can certainly appreciate your position...albeit, when I send one of those types of messages...it does mean as/what I am attempting to say "TO ALL OF YOU!' I also am aware that personal messages are respectful to the individual.
I do not know too much of how to check it so when I get some from a person 5 times a say if they post something 5 times a day, i will ask them to stop doing this. I will ask sometimes twice then i remove them from my friendship list.
Lately I find that the only time i hear from some ,who it seem come on only long enough to get me as a friend only to let me know when / how to attend something they will be having, I delete them also.
It was nothing like this when I first join this site, but now it is as you say E just aplace to find how to send out their "personal" SPAM! Very glad you posted this as misery does love company(smile)
