TRUST GOD EVEN WHEN IT HURTS (962 hits)

There are times in life when a situation arises and gives an unexpected blow to your faith. The pain that accompanies the blow puts you in a place of hopelessness and unbelief. The blow is so strong you fathom if you will ever be able to get up again. Your mind is racing with who, what, when and why questions.
There are people around to encourage you but nothing they say can take away the agonizing pain growing inside. You are literally in a place of disbelief and you ponder how did this happen? Does God really love me? Then to add insult to injury, the situation gets worse and you are thinking “Did I take the green pill from the matrix?” When you know there was only a blue and a red pill.
In the natural, the evil one is prevailing and there is no victory in site. You want to trust God. You want to believe He’s going to do it, but darkness has become your vision and the wound is so deep you can’t even speak. You hear the voices telling you to trust Him and He’s going to deliver but the pain blocks you from believing.
At this point, bitterness and anger is beginning to set in because some time has passed and God still hasn’t brought you out. Now, you begin to question this whole God thing because you’ve been in the pit for a while. You’ve been praying and fasting and God still hasn’t spoke to your situation. I know it hurts. I know where you are doesn’t feel good. I don’t see the tears you cry in the midnight hour. I don’t know the heartache that haunts you. I don’t know how many times you have tried and doors are closed in your face. I know it’s easy to turn back and say “forget it”. Nevertheless, despite the pain, there is a small voice inside of you telling you to hold on just a little bit longer. Although the thoughts are there to give up you have to press through it. You are slowly coming out of the pit. Please just give God one more try and watch what He does for you.


The Prayer
Father God, I pray for my sister or brother reading this prayer right now. I pray in the name of Jesus that You be with them and keep them from all hurt, harm and danger. I pray Father, that what the devil meant for evil You use it for good. I come against everything that is not like God for their life. I come against every attack of the enemy that is attacking their faith and trying to discourage them. Father God, You know all things and You know exactly what they need and when they need it. I pray for the sister or brother who is struggling in their faith and I plead the blood of Christ over their mind. I come against returning to old lifestyles and walking in darkness. I come against strongholds and bondage. I speak life of freedom and liberty of the mind. Father God, please dispatch Your angels to watch over them and if they are in a backsliding state give them a mind to repent of their sins. Give my sister or my brother a heart again for You. Allow them to begin to decree and declare they are sons and daughters of the kingdom of God. They will be what you have called them to be. All of these things I pray in the only name that matters and in the only name that saves, Jesus the Risen Christ, Amen.

For God knows the plans He has for you which are to prosper you and not harm you. I hear the Lord saying, “He knows it been a long time but just hold on a little longer and watch what He does for you. Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard the good things God has for you. Let God do it because when God blesses He doesn’t add any sorrow with it. Posted By:
