IT'S TIME FOR ME TO CLOSE THE DOOR TO THE LIFE THAT I ONE KNEW BEFORE. TO BE SET FREE FROM MY PAST SO THE NEXT LOVE THAT I HAVE WILL LAST. I NEED TO CLOSE THE DOOR YOU SEE, BEFORE BITTERNESS CLOSES THE DOOR ON ME. I HAVE TO GET OVER WHAT HAPPENED IN MY PAST OH GOD WHY DO THESE MEMORIES LAST? HELP ME FATHER ,HELP ME PLEASE , BEFORE BITTERNESS BECOMES A DISEASE. THAT RAVAGES THE SOUL,BODY AND MIND , THIS THING CALLED THE PAST IT HASN'T BEEN KIND. I'M CLOSING THE DOOR SO THE PEACE I REALLY NEED I'LL FIND. IF I LEAVE IT OPEN , I JUST MIGHT LOOSE MY MIND. DOOR CLOSED BY JESUS, SEALED SHUT IN HIS BLOOD!!!
As my aunts used to say when I was a little girl, I second that emotion!

Hiawatha you know they say forgiveness is for you not the other person and this is so true. Bitterness has a way of not only eating away from your joy, happiness and love but it will also turn you into someone you never thought you would be. I worked for this company where it felt like everyone hated me, would not support me and did everything they could to work my nerve. Everyday I thought would be my last day but each day I left work at work and started each day off fresh. As soon as someone worked my nerve I would dismiss it denounce it and walk on knowing that I would not allow them to make me into a bitter loner. As a result I built very strong relationships and alliances with people who otherwise would have never noticed me. My work showed why they did what they did and it made me look even better.
Jesus say's that things will happen to us, it part of life, but woe unto those through whom they come. God will take care of those who harm you as long as you stay faithful.
Sister Hiawatha, I am comforted that you have choosen to let Jesus Christ be the person to shut the door of your past hurt. We can not do it within ourselves. Only He can shut, protect and secure our protection by His Word, forcefully sealing us by His Holy Spirit, given to Him by His, and our Father God by the power of Grace and Mercy for our Salvation. Listen with an open heart as He speaks as our Shepard about handling "His door", which He uses to open and shut as the Protection of the minds, souls and embodiments of His sheep.....(US) You and Me.... Because, Jesus Christ, He says in His own Words, "I AM, The Door". JOHN 10: 1-16 ....... Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But He, (Jesus) that entereth in by the door is the Shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear His voice: and He calleth His own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when He putteth forth His own sheep, He goeth before them, and the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which He spake unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, "I am The Door of the sheep". All that ever came before Me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. " I am the Good Shepherd", and I know my sheep and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore doth My Father love Me, because I lay down My life, that I might take it up again. .....V: 27-30: My sheep hear My voice and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them to Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. Sister Hiawhtha, you are so on the correct path, yes, continue to let the Holy Spirit of the our Lord Jesus Christ lead and guide you into peace! Give it all to Him! Drop it all off at the Door!
