We need to all find ways to help our new president because helping Obama is helping ourselves. There are many out there seeking his demise therefore, it is only befitting that we do all we can to promote, protect, and execute his plans. My family and I began before he took office. We recycle even more now than before. We have trimmed the fat in our lives and have become minimalist, meaning if we don't need it we don't buy it. What we do buy we get the most out of it and then if possible we share what is left with something or someone. This helps us more than anything. We have saved thousands of dollars as well as lowering our imprint on the environment and the economy.
Let's all volunteer more especially when it comes to taking care of black children. There are many children out there in need of good sound guidance. Too many young parents don't have a clue. let's see if we can give them a hand.
Finally we need to clean up our neighborhoods. I recently moved to Houston from Denver and let me say Houston's black neighborhoods are a disgrace and I am offended. We need to get on our neighbors and the city. We need to show our children that we deserve better, that we are better, and that we know how to demand our rights.
