You are beautiful...SO WHAT! (194 hits)

The title may be offensive, but it's the truth. You are a beautiful, intelligent person. You dress wonderful, smell scrumptious, money in your pocket (or not). Your skin is flawless and your hair is divine. This is your self assessment. It may be a little inaccurate here or there, but still...you consider yourself to be a beautiful person. You ask yourself if you have such a portfolio; "why am I without a mate?" My answer to your question is: okay you are beautiful, but SO WHAT! I had the same thought recently. I looked at my assets and wondered why don't I get noticed enough. Then God answered me. I understood him to say that he made me beautiful inside and out. I have some really great assets-so I think. But then God said, who are you to be any different than the beautiful flowers and orchids and trees I created. Some notice them, and some don't. It is not meant for everyone to stop and show them love, yet I created them anyway. They stand tall and show their glory regardless if anyone stops by to notice them. Regardless if they are ignored until they die, they still lived for their purpose which is to be beautiful and loved by Me. Not everyone loves flowers, or butterflies, or roses. But some love them so much that they spend their day gazing at their glory. The flower and the butterfly and the rose knows no different-they just receive my love, and show their glory.
So...you say you are beautiful and have so much to offer, and you wonder why no one takes the time to smell your roses? Do know that your beauty is for a purpose, but it may not be the purpose you are hoping for. Just live, and grow and show your glory and the ones whom God intend to stop and take notice will; otherwise the glory is for Him, and trust me, He notices!
