Doing my daily day to day errands I got a call from a client who I booked a flight for to go with her friends to the annual Essence magazine conference in the past. Today she called me to book a flight ,hotel and car rental to nassau bahamas for one person. Being that we were friendly associates I ask her was the reservations for her she said in a damp tone in her voice saying "yes it is."
Feeling concerned, I asked her how was she feeling lately, hoping that she would explain the lonely trip to a tropical island. She said she had broken up with the guy she was seeing for close to a year and she needed to get away and do some soul searching. So I booked her reservations to an hotel next door to the Altantis because she oringinally wanted to stay at the Atlantis but it wasn't in her budjet at the time.
She said she plan to spend it alone because she needed to be away from men for awhile. I then of course warned her that their will be men there on the island. (she chuckled) A week or so later i got a phone call from miss soul searching telling me that she enjoyed her trip and that she really had a great time. I asked her how was her soul serching trip she told me that she planned to do it from home because she met a few people on the way to the island and they all went dancing scuba diving they saw live performances and she even met a nice gentleman who she plan to get to know better. she said she really needed that trip and that her new traveling buddies were just what the doctor ordered.
