So What Is Your Opinion About the Chimp Cartoon? (199 hits)
I was just catching up on my news, and I was reading about the cartoon in the NY Post. So I looked at the cartoon, and I took it the same way everyone else who is black has taken it. I don't know about you but I remember when we were compared to monkeys and apes. Barry Goldwater and a few other racist politicians called us all types of monkeys when they were trying to make a point about us being unable to learn as quickly as whites, or why we couldn't play basketball adequately. Although, if you look at monkeys are pretty intelligent animals! So we can take this any way we want to. How do you take it?
We all already know who comes from the ape family ! We're the only hue-mans on the planet. If you do run across any one of them that are at the least bit decent, that's because somewhere down the line, they have a little of us running through their veins. They know we are the original people, problem is, not enough of us know it ! Or want to accept it !
