Ladies, I am about to tell you some things, some of which you may already know ! Please pass this along to other females that could benefit in knowing.
There were a group of rapists that were in prison who were interviewed and shared what they look for in a potential victim. Here are the interesting facts :
Hairstyle : They seek out victims with a ponytail, bun, braid, or women with long hair that can easily be grabbed. Short haired women are less common targets. Clothing : They look for women who's clothes can be removed easily and quickly. Some carry scissors or knives for this reason. Activities : Women who are on their cell phones or BlackBerries, searching through their purse, or another activity while walking can be easily distracted, caught off-guard and empowered. Attacks and rape occur mostly between 5:00am and 8:30am.
Here are the numbered places in order that women are abducted : #1. Grocery store parking lots #2. Office parking lots/ garages #3. Public restrooms
There were only 2% of these men who claimed they carried a weapon. Why ? Because rape carries a sentence of "ONLY", 3-5 years, ( is that crazy or what) ? And with a weapon, is 15-20 years. ( I say it's crazy because what happens if a woman is impregnated and chooses to abort ? Someone still has to answer to God ) ! Once again you're on your own with this one ! Seriously, something is wrong with this !
When you are coming from somewhere and approach your car, take a panoramic view of your surroundings. who is parked next to you. If there's a man sitting alone next to you, you may want to walk back in from where you were coming from and get an escort, ( security guard) or someone to walk you back to your car. Before entering your car, look into it. Back, passenger floor, throughly ! Don't just sit in your car doing your check book and shopping list with the doors unlocked, ( I know you know this )! Lock your doors and leave ! If someone is in your car with a gun to your head, DON'T DRIVE OFF! I'll repeat ! DON'T DRIVE OFF ! Instead, gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking your car ! Yes, your air bag may save you but the one in the back will suffer the most. If you can, when the car crashes, bail out and run. this is better than being found dead in a remote location ! Be aware if you're parked next to a van, enter from the passengers side. Most serial killers abduct while women attempt getting into their cars. If you are ever thrown into a car trunk, kick out the back tail lights, stick your arm out and wave like crazy ! Someone may see you, but the driver won't ! If the predator does have a gun and you ever get a chance where you're not under his control, ALWAYS RUN ! Preferably in a zig-zag motion.
Parking lots/Garages : Always take the elevator verses the stairs, no matter what exercize program you try and squeeze in. If there appears to be someone following you , look them in the face, try and make eye contact and small talk. Something like, "What time is it" ?Look's like we're in for a bad winter..... This way you can identify them in a line-up and your appeal as a victim has diminished. Always put up a fight and GO for the GROIN if you can ! If given the opportunity here are some other delicate places to know : You can pinch the attacker under the arm, ( between the elbow and armpit), Or in the upper inner thigh. you must do this very ,very hard trying to break the skin. If ever he puts his hands up to you, grab his first two fingers and bend them back as far as you can with pressure pushing down on them. Remember, the strongest point on your body is your elbow. If you're close enough, use it ! You may not be able to beat him with your strength, but you can try and outsmart them by using what you have. These men don't target women with umbrellas or other objects similar. These can be used as weapons against them. It is wise to carry pepper spray. When a robber ask for your purse, don't just hand it over to them ! Toss it away from you and run like mad in the opposite direction. Get in the habit of not carrying valuables in your purse, that includes identifications. However, In a life or death situation, give them whatever they want ! Your life is more valuable than any material thing on earth ! Remember this !
Public Restrooms : When asking for the key, look to see who else is asking. When you open the bathroom door, try to check if anyone else is there, including the stalls while you are still holding the door open. ( if someone is there, go back out, and wait. Women rob too ) ! Once in, LOCK the door ! When leaving pretend you are talking to someone on your cell phone while returning the key and leave. We have the tendancy to be sympathetic and too helpful at times. Be leary about helping people with a cane, a limp or asking for your help. ( even those using children). At best flag down someone else to HELP THEM. You can not be all things to all people !
At Home : When returning home, again take caution to your surroundings. Call and let someone know when you are pulling up so they can keep an eye out. ( especially with garages and dark back yards). Put lights on using timers ,if living alone. You could even yell out to one of your neigbors with, " Hi George " ! ( like he's in the yard) untill you enter your home, keep talking to George ! ( George just might happen to look out ) ! Once in, LOCK YOUR DOORS ! Investigate all noices at all times INSIDE ! Go with your instincts, remember how you left your home and use your sence of smell ! Another ploy is the "CRYING BABY PLOY" ! If you hear the sound of a baby crying outside, DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR ! Call the police ! This is a ploy to get for you to open it !
Ladies, as always some basics still apply, take someone with you if you can. Never dismiss odd behavior and go with your gut instincts. We are living in some terrible times and the forecast says that things will get worse ! Every morning put on your armor and ask God for protection and guidance.
These people who attack women, have/had mothers, sisters, aunts and neices. I can not fathom why in a zillion years they do things to women ! Goddesses Blessing Goddesses need you to help get this message out to other females that you know. I wish my cousin had known these things, she could have still been living.
The life and hardship you save may very well be your own ! Take care and caution in the NEW YEAR ! It's better to be safe than sorry !

Hopefully this will get printed off, read, and stored in the mind of someone that will need it in a space of time where knowing matters and it saves their life or some hardship. This was my purpose to post it. At this very moment there's a woman somewhere under attack, or is about to be.
