When I am still in spirit, content in mind, and quiet in thoughts... America is frightened. As well as she should be!
This time I will not not stand for the touching of my sands (black leadership), Is not respecting the theft of my jewels (educational and economical gain), shall not stand and watch my brother killed for speaking of this!
For far to long America...i have been complaisant to your laws, ruled and ruined by your despising of my mahogony clothing, and threatened if I protest your political abuses.
Malcom died for x-ing out the postures of inferiority... Martin Luther murdered for his "KING" suggestions of a residing peace; and, Black dreams shattered every time the esteem of my precious culture is raised by the standing of a leader who exist on two feet, and refuses to live kneeled to governmental oppression.
That man I hear of you holding under the scope of assassination; is elected your president, but has been born my brother...remember that!
I will keep my brother too America...by any means necessary.
I am not sure America is frightened. Angry, joyful, hopeful, anticipating, anxious, free, at peace, controlled, and watching. Remember all your "brothers" that went down, James Meredith, Emmet Til, James Chaney, Mr. Jones, Mr. Smith etc..they were your "brothers" too..and so is your neighbor, and the kid in high school,so do what you can for the "brothers' to help Obama. Each one Reach one.
