Conservatives still complaining (352 hits)

Fox News is spinning spinning spinning. That's fine. They can spin until they're blue in the face, Obama still won the election and will become president.

Viva Obama! So ecstatic about the win!

Some of the irrationality I've seen aimed towards Obama has everything to do with race, it's at the root of our psyche here in the U.S, kind of like Freud and his ideas on s*x. I've been reading online this morning cries of woe from Republicans who have claimed Obama is evil and I keep thinking, are we seeing the same person here? How can anyone think Obama is bad or has bad intentions? It's crazy and illogical but here's the thing...

People fear progress because they fear they don't have the talent to survive when others begin to achieve. They don't want to compete, they want everything handed to them on a silver platter and therefore, strive to keep this country on an uneven keel. The fear of socialism isn't fear of socialism but the fear that some of the monies will go to minorities. When minorities do better in this society, their children achieve more. When there is widespread poverty the children sell drugs and kill each other which creates less competition for white children therefore making the path to success that much easier. I do not believe Mccain is racist. I believe he is an elitist much like Bush. People who want to preserve their legacies, wealth, and class. Most true conservatives, are more than often NOT racist people. Others, hide more insidious feelngs behind the conservative ideology which has basically ruined the party.

So if republicans are crying over their loss, they should really start thinking abotu why they're voting republican in the first place... especially if they're lower class or not among the elite.

E-Private,

I don't have subscription for Fox News--- It is quite a blessing not to hear nonsense from them. I am so very happy for what I have always believed about Obama--- he is a breath of fresh air to the nation and to the world. Hopefully after the dust settles, the Republicans can get with program to help clean up the mess they created (smiles). I will admit that I am looking forward to hearing all the dirt about Sarah Palin and how the McCain Campaign said she went rogue.
