Always My Mother

Even though I make you mad,
You always worry when I'm sad
Even though we may fuss and fight
You find a way to make it right
Even though we both complain, complain, complain
I am proud to say we bare the same name
Even though I can be a pest
You still encourage me to do my best
Even though sometimes, I think I'm grown
You continue to teach me right from wrong
Even though I cry and whine every once in a while
You find a way to make me smile
Even though I do things I'm not supposed to
You soon forgive me and your love stays true
Even though your purpose in life extends much further
You're #1 priority remains being a good mother
Even though perfect I can never be, You do your best
to provide for me; and even though you are and will become
many things to many others;
Forever you will always be MY Mother
