An Answer to Guest Visitor

· Wednesday, September 3rd 2008 at 10:35AM · 539 views
To those of you who don't know what's going on: A "Guest Visitor" took issue with a blog I posted yesterday entitled, "How to Find the Right Man". In this person's response was a total misrepresentation of my admission of the source as well as an unwillingness to entertain the fact that the article provided good and useful information based on their opinion of my comments with regard to the Presidential election in a previous blog. Those comments, by the way were also misrepresented. I responded to the comments on my blog, but wanted to post the response here in a more open forum. I make no apologies for who I am or what I believe. I don't ask anyone else to either.

First, let me say to you, Guest Visitor, that I appreciate you commenting on this blog. However let me just point out some things to you... a) I didn't write "How to Find the Right Man" which I referred to at the beginning of the post, i.e. "I have shared this with other women and it still blesses me today, two years after someone sent it to me. " Also at the end of the post the author’s name (as it was given to me) is given, i.e. “DiamondHawk”. In no way did I claim credit for authoring this post, so the mere fact that you didn’t read it well enough to gather that makes it very easy to see why you would have misread and are now misrepresenting my comments in an earlier blog about the election.

In that blog, I clear stated that I was not a Bush supporter “because he ran as a conservative, but governed as a liberal”, and I have never claimed that he has done a good job. I also stated that I was not a Obama supporter, or a McCain supporter, but that I consider myself to be one of a growing number of “conservatives for a third choice.” As for my statements about who God would want for President, I never suggested either candidate, but suggested that we make that more a matter of prayer than discussion. What I did do was to point out the obviously stated opinions of one candidate with regard to same s*x marriage and partial birth abortions. Asking God for His will concerning our lives is always the right thing to do since He made us and knows what we have need of.

As for McCain’s choice of a running mate, the “seventeen year old daughter” of Governor Palin is pregnant out of wedlock, not the Governor! Liberals are all for giving teenagers the “right to choose” to do what they want with their own bodies without taking into consideration what their parents might be trying to teach and enforce at home. You even champion and have legislated their right to have abortions without notifying their parents. Add to that throwing free c*ndoms at them left and right, but then you want to blame the parents when a seventeen year old does what you have been screaming that she should have the right to do, which, ultimately is to disregard, disobey, and disrespect her parents. However, it is perfectly okay for “Soul Brother #1” Bill Clinton, who was a GROWN MARRIED MAN, to have oral s*x with a White House aide in the Oval Office because what he does in his personal life shouldn’t affect how we judge him as a president. We shouldn’t have even thought of trying to impeach him for that, oh no! You want to judge Gov. Palin for the free will decisions and actions of one of her family members, but not judge Bill Clinton for HIS OWN actions. Wow! Forgive me, but that is a bunch of crap! What a double standard!

While I am at it, let me teach you something… I came on this site, fully disclosing who I am (picture included) and what I believe and stand for. When you are willing come from behind an icon and “guest visitor” then maybe we can talk. I don’t back down or hide in espousing my beliefs. You may try to prove me wrong, but you will never see me hide.

Thank you again for your response to this post.

YOU GO GIRL!!! While I suspect you and I may disagree on somepolicy issues, every word you speak here is true. There are many gross double standards glowering over this election. I appreciate your unmistakable stand.

Guest Visitor who are you? Sis, I don't have no dog in this fight; I'm not taking sides. I don't how your house can be so fragile you fear to share your name, but you're hurling boulders at this sister? I believe the Bible says, Judge not lest ye be judged, for with the same measure you mete, it shall be meted unto you again.
