I hear you. I believe in the parable of the Talents ( Matthew 25:14-30); financial increase, Investments. If I had received this type of teaching and training earlier in life, I would have been much better of I'm sure. However, it is always better late than never. Unfortunately, many African Americans have not understood the idea of working smarter instead of harder and I'm guilty until now. We shun the idea of building a network of assets to work for us. However, I've learned that "Life Events" knows no boundaries either. What happens when you cannot work? Are you still getting paid and if so for how long? Hummmmmm!
