I have foreign born friends who came to the US during their college years and they are successful. More successful than my US friends. But I also see a hugh difference between the 2 groups. My foreign born friends are so determined, focused, never give up, not afraid to take risks and they don't take opportunities for granted. On the other hand, my US friends are not as focused, afraid of change, and settle. Success is available for everyone. But it requires you to do your part. It doesn't just fall into your lap.

yes, I do believe that immigrants have it easier in the USA do to a fresh start with credit, money and career opportunities and most of all the escape of the abuse and disgrace and hatred that has been passed down for genereation to generation in this country. I feel it is such an ugly misconception that black people are lazy and we no longer want to do the low paying jobs. What i wish people could realize is that we have done those job and then some and have worked our way up the latter and still do not gain the same respect as immergrants who come to this country and marry a white person because they do not want to be associated with a african american. I have friends of all races. (just thought i would say that because that is the first thing a white person says...I AM NOT RACIST I HAVE BLACK FRIENDS" If a jewish person comes to this country from their homeland trust and beleive they will never endure what i or my people have endured
