It's a long way...

It's a long way to heaven but I got to get there
Am walking in a valley of snakes and afraid to walk for fear
Am closing my eyes in the dark so that I can see the light
Lord knows each day am tired of the struggle , tired of the fight
The demons whisper to me at night.. they try to get me to join that side
I have done it before but was decieved
The Devil is schemer and played with my soul
But my master is God he has full control
Its a long stormy ,bruise filled way to heaven but I got to get there
God please hold my hand please nurture me and make me understand?
What is it all about? How can I get out of this mess?
Each day I fall a little victim cause am under so much stress
I know you tell me I've been bless
I can't see it
or is it I don't believe it?
