My Grief

My Grief

What I have learned is that grief will 'find you' and will show up; it is learning how to grieve in healthy ways that is important. Some people may do the oddest things; others ignore it, but I think everyone knows, "Grief" is a greedy bum who will hang on, stay buried, create confusion and all sorts of things, until it is done (which is when we get a handle on things!).? give yourself time; that is the most valuable thing ever.

In any case, don't worry about knowing how to grieve, it is learning to live with the grief and making it work for you rather than you getting lost in "it".? I hope that makes sense.

Excellent advice. Obviously from someone who knows of what she speaks. Great contribution. Keep up the good work, as I am sure you have more to give.

I agree with you I have been there.

I lost my only daughter she was 22 years old and grandson he was 17 months they died in a car accident about four years ago.

Moreover, from day one of their passing, I refuse to get lost in my grief.

Do not get me wrong I am still grieving.

But I do not let it get the best of me

I just think about the sweet memory we shared together. That is my key
Thank you for the encouraging words. May god bless you.

I speak from experience I lost my 16 year old son to murder 2 years and it has been a painful journey every single. Some of the comfort that I get is that I do not walk in this valley alone.

In loving memories of my late daughter: {Rosie Shana} who was 22, in my grandson {Sir. Jadon Tysawn} he was 17 months. They both went on to be with the Lord on March 16, 2004 , they're passing away was due to a car accident.

My Babies

Although there hearts of gold stopped beating, Four shining eyes at rest, God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes the best. God knows you-all had to leave us, But you-all did not go alone, For part of us went with you-all, The day he called you-all home. To some you-all are forgotten, To others just part of the past, But to us who loved and lost you two shining stars, The memories of you all will be forever cherished in our hearts.

God's Blessing To All Who Is Grieving.
May he give you the strength and comfort you need to endure what you are going through.

God bless!
