Ludacris Under Fire for Calling Hillary The B Word

Ludacris Under Fire for Calling Hillary The B Word

As much as gas cost today, this is like watching Ludacris dump a truck full on an already lit fire. A call to action to be “offended” has been unleashed against Ludacris for his contribution of support to his candidate of choice. In the The New York Times Political Blog, Mike Nizza says of Ludacris’ latest song “Politics”, “he did what he does best when matched with a booming baseline — rapping without regard for anyone who might be offended.” In the song Luda takes shots at Hillary, Jessie Jackson and more. He uses the B word. Now a women’s PAC group has launched a campaign calling for apology. Click to read more below and listen to “Politics.” Will Obama denouce or play it quietly on his ipod.

No woman should be referred to by anything other than her name or Queen as far as I am concerned but there is something called 'Freedom of Speech' in the USA. If WomenCount is not going ask Ludacris and every other rapper to apologize for the negative references made about women in their lyrics then I think they should back off and not distract Americans from the current political campaign. Hillary Clinton has been called and accused (Whitewater) of worse things. If John McCain can survive 5 years as a POW with broken limbs, surely he and Senator Clinton both can handle a few lyrics from Luda.

Buffy, sense you put it like that, I'm in agreement. Why should Luda, be made to apologize to only Hillary; when women (primarily black women) have took the brunt of this word in rap music. Luda, should be made to apologize to black women first then work his way down to Hillary. I say that because, this PAC group only seems to be concern with Hillary's feelings first (maybe only). I might seem a little selfish with that statement but thats how I feel. I haven't listen to the lyics yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't change what I wrote thus far.

The bad thing for luda - he's up to be inducted into Georgia Music Hall of Fame. This could be trouble for him.
