Help! I don't know how to use this site!
I looked forward to becoming a member of this website because I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to network professionaly with women in my field. (I am a writer). I currently have a facebook and myspace profile but mainly use them for social purpoeses.
However, BlackWomenConnect seems an impossible site for me to use. First of all there is no "help" option. (I clicked on the "help" link and a message popped up that said "coming soon". I don't know how to browse for people who are Grambling alums or fellow members of Swing Phi Swing. On Facebook, all I have to do is click on these links in my "About Me" section and it will take me directly to other people with similar interests. This website only takes me back to my own profile.
The navigation on this site is poor. My profile pic only shows half of my face. I am quite disappointed and hope the developers of this site make it easier to manage in the future. Right now, I am just frustrated.
If anyone knows how I can best utilize this site, please let me know. I am lost...

To browse fellow Grambling alumni on BWC, simply click on the Members menu item and use the drop down under College to select Grambling. We do have the "organization" field, but not currently in our search feature. I will see if the developers can include that field. The HELP section will be worked on. In the meantime, if you have any questions or issues, feel free to contact me or use the Contact Us section (*at the bottom of the page in the footer*). We are looking at our current "thumbnail" software that we use to make thumbnails of the photos (*aka the culprit*) and hope to fix this issue as well.
