Mr. Oakwood 2019-2010 Joseph Smittick developed a platform called "Let's Eat!" -- a metaphor that encourages Oakwood students to embrace their “hunger” for success, so they can make the best use of the opportunities that come their way and reap the rewards for themselves and their community.
Miss Oakwood 2019-2020 Bria Gamble has developed a platform called FOCUS:

- Creating Your Narrative
- Understanding Your Purpose
- Seeking Counsel
She wants to help the student body cultivate their abilities and resources, to shift their focus from passivity to proactivity; take responsibility for who they are, and what they choose to do with their story.
