Transitioning from the military is not easy

I transitioned from the military in 2009 and I will tell you, that after 21 years of being in the service it has been a challenge to cope with the everyday life that normal people deal with. The culture is so different from waking up in the morning to going to bed late at night it's all different. I had to find an organization that had some of the same values I was used to and get plugged in immediately.. The bottom line is you MUST find a way to make money.. As a service member, you did not have to worry about making money because on the first and the fifteenth, your money was in the BaNK but in this everyday culture, it's a bit of a challenge, you have to get your daily grind on. I figured it out. Working as a consultant was the best thing I could have done. I work when I like and make money when I need to.. I think it is the best way to go..
