A centuries old Angel Oak Tree is in the middle of a saving controversy as land developers has given some threats to the danger of the tree's life. The Angel Tree takes up more 1889 square feet and is located near Charleston, SC. This cause of the tree's life threats has formed a local group of tree conservationists to raise some funding to help preserve the land and the tree. Donations by way of the general public has raised some funding, but at least $500,000 more is needed. The tree has been a sanctuary to many visitors, along with a sight seekers tourist wonder. Limbs of the tree spread all over and create a maze of trunks and limbs. One of the co-founder's of the conservationists Samantha Siegel has donated much effort to raising funding and awareness of a drive to help preserve a nature's wonderland. Siegel has a special connection with the environment in that she has connected her own special place of being. The $500,000 will be needed to raised by a deadline of November 21, 2013. Efforts of funding is continues but not all may be grim.
