Miss World Contest was held on September 29, 2013. At least 128 contestants from all over the world participated but one left away with the crown. She's 23 year old Megan Young. Young is presently studying Digital Media. The Miss World Competition represents beauties from 180 countries. Some officials were concerned that protestors who felt the beauty contest was un-Islamic the event went on without any major clash. Many people from Jakarta expressed their opposing the contest earlier in September by holding a rally against the gala.
