Am I wasting my time in supplication my Lord
Please show me that you are listening
Do my prayers still mean something to you
Or are they like Birthday candle wishes
Upon earth I landed battered and bruised my God
Did you hear my banished spirit calling
It cried out to you in confusion and fear
Do you bother listening to the fallen
Back within your grace I will find some peace
From this tempest which I have created
For this grace I walk through alleys and in shadows
Confronting evil while I am painfully waiting
Only you know what I must do in this life
To work my way back next to your throne
Until that life I will cherish blessings in this one
And they are my son, his love, and our home

PS: Rico-che is a prisoner that was convicted of murder when he was 19...it was a weird thing when he shot someone very far away to scare the person but it didn't scare them it killed them..it's very unfortunate and painful story of being an irresponsible adolescence that end up changing someone's whole life and causing someone's death...he got something like 14-30 years but though he has had exceptional behavior and is a good christian he has been denied parole.
