A PRAYER FROM MIISRAEL WITH ISAIAH
A PRAYER OF PENITENCE
The power of prayer is inside you. . .
O’LORD OUR FATHER:
ISAIAH:
Look down from heaven,
And see from Your habitation,
holy and glorious.
Where are Your zeal and Your strength;
the yearning of Your heart and Your mercies
toward me?
Are they restrained?
MIISRAEL:
Look down from heaven,
And see us with eyes holy and glorious.
Where are Your with tender mercies and
the yearning of Your heart is inward of me?
Are You far from us in then this day?
ISAIAH:
Doubtless You are our Father,
Though Abraham was ignorant of us,
You, O’Lord, are our Father,
Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.
O’Lord, why have made us stray from Your ways,
And hardened our heart from Your fear?
Return for your servants’s sake.
The tribes of Your inheritance.
Our adversaries have trodden down
Your sanctuary.
MIISRAEL:
Yea, Heavenly Lord Our only Father.
Let no longer remain an ignorant people!
For You are known by us
You, O’Lord, are our Father.
Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.
Let not our hearts contrite and never
be hardened from Your fear!
Let not us ever be alone, and in never wandering astray;
For as much; we have believed in Your inheritance.
Your Sanctuary.. .
Your obedience possesses us.
Your marvelous Sanctuary..
Lives and abide within us!
ISAIAH:
We have become like those of the old, over whom
You never ruled.,
Those who were never called by Your name!
MIISRAEL:
Let us remain free from the old life, over whom
You never ruled.
Those who were never called by Your name!
For our life is new and You have placed
Your name upon our foreheads!
Sealed with the name which is asked in our prayers!
