Pastor Uses Stripper Pole in Sermon

(the Grio) An Ohio pastor is attempting to make tithing more interesting by putting a stripper pole on the pulpit to add his sermons on s*x. Pastor Mike Scruggs, of Light of Word Ministries in White Oak, said preaching with a neon pink pole and a bed on stage is his way of keeping his worship services "relevant" and "straightforward." How much more straightforward can you be when you are placing a pole of the pulpit to preach? "We don't sugarcoat anything," he told WLWT-TV in Cincinnati.

Past church conversations have involved teachings about drugs, relationships, and other topics that resonate in the parishioner's lives. While scattered money, lingerie, and high heels near the pole will be the extra flair for the sermon, the goal is to encourage married couples to have more s*x.
