Minister Linda Scruggs, MS to Address the International Conference on AIDS in the Nation's Capitol
I encourage every Black woman to attend the International Conference on AIDS in Washington DC in July 2012. We are the fastest growing group on newly infected persons in the United States yet funding to support the services that HIV-positive people need is being cut. Women need these life-saving services that include prevention, education, housing, case management, pirmary medical care, oral health care, early intervention services, child care, substance abuse treatment and support for mental health services. Please get involved and find out the facts about how HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and other STDs affect us individually and as a group on so many levels.
