When One Has Endured Their

Friends' Platitudes And Criticisms,

He's Sure He Would Not Behave

The Same Way If He Were In Their

Shoes.

He's Confident He Would Offer Only

Encouragement And Solace, Which

Is What He Longs For Himself.

Until We Have Suffered, Until We Have

Experienced The Judgment And Derision

Of Others In The Midst Of Our Pain, We

A Suffering Friend With The Same Superficiality

And Ignorance.

Suffering Is How To Empathize With Others And

How To Comfort Effectively As God Comforts Us

{ 2 Co 1:3-6 }.

When Our Friends Suffer, We Can Follow The

Advice Of The Writer Of Hebrews To Put Ourselves

In Their Shoes And Love Them Tenaciously, With

Humility { Heb 13:3}.

Their Suffering May One Day Be Our Own.
