@ Miisrael,
I can't believe it, because I was hoping that she would make it. Everyone was hoping that she would pull through and make a come back after all she'd been through. What a wonderful "real" human being and a special lady. There is no one else like her.
@Jen, Although I think she was really trying there was much toll on health, and perhaps she just couldn't fully recover. Fact remains she did demonstrate to overcome her habits and faced them to better herself. Like you said she was wonderful and real and very special, one of a kind..
@ Saint well said, She will be missed!
Her incomparable voice will live forever...
@ Saint,
Me too, I was upset last night when I walked in to see CNN's Don Lemon talking about her having died. I was totally caught off guard, because I hadn't heard the news yet. That was 9:15 pm.
@ Miisrael,
Yes she was trying, but we ought not be too, surprised because look at all the Motown Greats who we have lost due to similar 'demons'. I wish that I can say that it isn't so, but being a medical professional ... the most likely culprit would be drugs. She has no other medical history that would cause sudden death.
@ Brother Rich,
My sentiments precisely! She will always be the "voice" to me. I'll never forget the AT&T commercial she did back in the day exhibiting her incredible voice to the world.
My goodness... that little girl is fragile and has a predisposition to addiction because of the parents. I pray that her guardian Angel watch her and keep her safe from harm.
