Hello everyone it is Sister Betty once again. I do hope everyone is enjoying
your day. I hope you know that you are bless. I know I am no matter what
may be happening around me. Are what I may have to in counter in my
walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Today I wanted to talk about the Good
Samaritan. My journey this week something happen that did remind me
of the Good Samaritan. Now remember this is my journey, and I am here
to share it with whomsoever want to read it, and be encourage. I have
shared with many of you in other journey's about the type of work I do. It's
not an easy type of job for a man nor a woman. Anyway one morning I
was pulling a pallet of food to the floor. Well I had seen before I had taken
it from the back that something was going to fall off of it. Well it did it was
a case of spaghetti sauce. Well I had to keep pulling it to the spot where me,
and another co/worker we both unloaded it off of one pallet to another. We
work in a very fast paced kind of environment. Now you ask where does
the Good Samaritan comes in. I know you all may have read already about
the Good Samaritan. In case you haven't you can find it in the Book of Luke
chapter 10:25-37. Please do take time to read it for yourself. There was
this other gentleman that works there as well. He had passed the broken
package, and he turned around and said to my co/worker "Did you make
this mess up here." was it you that did that? He knew it was I of course that
was pulling that day, but he would ask my co/worker did he make that mess.
Now here is when I am being tested, my flesh wanted to say something back,
but the Holy Spirit would not allow me to do so. So I did obey, and said nothing.
Let me get to the rest, because it is a story to tell. My co/ worker asked the
gentleman does he read his bible daily. And the gentleman said no, not daily
but do read it. I am listen still minding my own business. The co/worker asked
him had he read about the "Good Samaritan" and he said yes. The gentleman
then walked off. What the co/worker was bringing to his attention, if you have
read your bible, and you have read about the "Good Samaritan" he would
have stopped along his way. Cleaned up that mess that he called mess. Without
questioning who made the mess. He saw the mess on the side of the road, [on
the floor] why not be that Good Samaritan and clean it up? I am going to leave
it at that. There was more that was said and done. But I want you who are
Christians and Non-Christians to stand still and think about it? What would
you have done? Are you a Good Samaritan? Or are you one that speaks
strongly that you read your bible sometimes. By the way he never went to
back to clean up that mess, smile. I hope you was encourage by
this message. Because I am always encourage by my own journey. Agape! :)
