I know, right! I've decided that if it ain't about Jesus when it comes to the church then I don't want any part. I recently signed up to be a volunteer for VBS at the church I attend. I had an interview and from the interview I felt that I was being coaxed to say certain things. It's like when you're on trial and testifying on the witness stand when the other lawyers' says, "Objection Your Honor, The Counselor is leading the witness." The lady probably meant no harm when she was asking me questions, but at the end of the interview she told me to get a mbrship form because it would be good if I was also a mbr of the church, too. Sure I told her that I'd thought of joining, but to make it a requirement all of a sudden isn't her decision to make for me.
