The night before 122210 was a very freaky night. I was doing my research on TWA maintenance and styles and had the urge to go to my bathroom and chop! But I this is the weird part...I only chopped the front right side of my bang and FREAKED out! Almost in tears, literally I moisturized my mane with 99% Aloe Vera gel, put in Taliah Waajid The Detangler leave-in conditioner and sealed it with Organic Virgin Coconut Oil...WTHeck???
I couldn't do it! I was soooo bummed out, I went straight to bed! And that's when the magic happened...I dreamed a beautiful dream...all the research paid off! Not only was my BC confirmed but my total hair vision in this dream appeared clear as day.
So 122210 7:54am I awoke, turned on my Pandora station Lauryn HIll, lit my baby powder candle, switched on the lights in my bathroom, took out Mr. Scissors, moistened my hair with 99% Aloe Vera gel and Johnson's no more tangles, and picked what was left of my distorted mane...so i grabbed a hand ful of hair and CHOPPED until it was gone! NO strategy, no training, just adrenaline and confirmation!!! WoW!
I rinsed my slightly uneven TWA, put in a little bit Taliah Waajid The Detangler leave-in conditioner, sealed it with Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, styled my TWA with ECO Olive Oil styling gel, and cut straight ends (I recommend a professional if possible)...
Did I like it? NO!
Did I regret it? NO!
Was I in shock? YES!
Now I am on a mission! I'm searching for the right product for my type 3 hair!
I will be back with my findings and resources once I have tried the products for my self! All recommendations are welcomed!
