Building Strong Partnerships will Boost Your Business

Building Strong Partnerships will Boost Your Business

Today, I’d like to ask you an important question…

Did you know that most people do not succeed in business because of one main reason? Whether they are an entrepreneur, have joined a corporation or a network marketing business, the main reason most people do not succeed in business is because they become discouraged and lose their motivation when it seems like they are building their dream all alone.

Most of us need a business partner who will run with us, motivate and encourage us to stay in the race, and not give up. That partner may be another man, woman or a small group of individuals who not only understands us, but also shares the same vision and goals. Although being in business or being a business owner is a lot of work, if you are doing something you enjoy, believe in, and are passionate about, it should also be a lot of fun!

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10 that “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor, for it they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falls; for he hath not another to help him up.”

Ecclesiastes 4:12 also says that: “And if one prevails against him, two shall withstand him; and a three-fold cord is not easily broken.”

It was so refreshing and inspiring recently to hear our Platinum president Dorothy Cook speak about the comradery she shares with fellow Platinum President Marie Preston. “The jump out girls are back,” she shouted to fellow Platinum President Irwin Portis. Dorothy and Marie go out and meet people as a team. Although they may separate when they reach their destination, the friendly competition of succeeding and getting to their next rank or company level, motivates them to press forward, full speed ahead, and makes their business a lot of fun. You see, they are partners who have a lot in common, are working towards the same goals, and are accountability partners.

I have a business partner who placed me in my business and an accountability partner who keeps me focused, has a similar personality, shares my desire to succeed, and makes doing and being in business so much fun!
